Not CAD related but a great site...

TECHBARGAINS - Targeting the best deals in tech...

It's a great site featuring great tech deals... there are search tools, rebate offers, a free newsletter, reviews, tips, links, etc... I thank my sister (who is a bigger techno-dweeb than me, and I meant that in a good way!) for the 411.

BLOG ALERT! another 2 for 1 special...

Name:Todd Shackelford
Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Todd has two blog offerings, the first is...

The Lazy Drafter

How to grow technically and professional for the lazy drafter. The lazy drafter does not waste time over drafting a piece of dwg art. He takes the shortest path to completing a drawing set, without compromising the intent of the design. Why? He does not want to answer questions about the drawings from the designer or builder. He has, but always wants more respect, trust, donuts, responsibility and money. The lazy drafter has most likely stopped reading this by now.

Todd's second blog offering is...

CAD Shack

An Autodesk Building Systems (ABS) and Revit Systems Blog. Dedicated to helping MEP Drafters, Designers and CAD Managers excel through technology.

DWF-This-Link! Bookmarklet

DWF-This-Link! bookmarklet converts your DWF file links on your web page to thumbnail preview images (rendered on the fly). Visitors to your web page can click the thumbnail image to view the DWF using the Project Freewheel DWF Viewer.

This is very cool... follow the instructions, and then when on a web page that has DWF links, use this utility to preview and also open the DWF file using the Project Freewheel DWF Viewer.

Also note the new feature that was recently added to the Project Freewheel DWF Viewer that adds "eMail this DWF".
